Hello, internet wayfarer!

Posted by crisfdez on 20 June, 2008

I suppose it is customary to do some sort of introduction when one first starts a blog, and even if it isn’t, I am going to venture one. My name is Cristina.

    I am:

  • an idealist
  • pro-choice
  • liberal
  • an environmentist
  • spiritual
  • pro-immigrant
  • left-handed
  • pro-woman
  • not much of a natural dancer, unfortunately

I traded in my South Florida residence for one in the greater Boston area about three years ago. Currently, I am trying to shift from sales to nonprofit work, specifically in the realm of public policy, social justice, and civil rights. I want to make a difference, not just a sales quota. This blog will focus on my journey into the world of nonprofits, as well as some of the wisdom I’ve gained along the way.

That’s about it, in a nutshell! Thanks for stopping by my little island on the web.
